These pictures were actually taken by Shannon. We were staying at my parents house and one morning when we woke up this was the sunrise that we saw. It was really amazing how vibrant the colors reflecting off the Puget Sound were.

These were taken at the U of I arboretum. For not having the right equipment with me, these images are OK. I think I will go back and see what else I can do. Fall colors pretty amazing.

Dogfish Bite

Storm clouds

I took these on the drive back to Pullman from Spokane. The storm clouds were pretty dark which makes for a lot of contrast against wheat fields.

Wheat turning green to gold

The wheat in the Palouse is a mixture right now between green and gold color. Some fields are really golden but still others are pretty green still. For some reason pictures of wheat fields always look good.

Photoshop Water Color

These are pictures that I have taken recently and did some photoshop work with them to make them look like water color paintings. I really think water color is beautiful and thanks to modern computers I can pretend I'm actually an artist (not really). Most of these look better in there true size so you have to click on the picture to look at a larger size.

Port Townsend Marina

I took these in Port Townsend when my wife and I were visiting family. They were all taken around sunset time. I always love going to marinas and checking out all the boats. I probably spent 2 hours just walking around taking pictures.

Fishing Success!!!

We went out fishing today and landed a nice King Salmon with my Dad, my brother Jared, and my brother in law Greg. It was a lot of fun. These pictures were taken on my brothers canon p/s. This post really has nothing to do with my own photography but I couldn't resist a little showing off.

These were taken on the Washington State Campus. They are of the Bryan Hall Clock Tower. Its a beautiful building and one of the oldest buildings on campus. The bottom one is supposed to be a water color picture.

Port Townsend Pics

The first picture I really like because everyone looks so relaxed and they are all just taking in the amazing view of the Puget Sound and Indian Island. The second picture I thought was just a funny sign. These were all taken on the beach at Kala Point near Port Townsend Washington.

Monotone Colors

These are some plants that were at our hotel in Tulum Mexico. The original color is the one on the bottom. I liked the contrast between the purple and green even though I hate to admit that I liked something that was purple. GO COUGS!!! The others are Monotone shades of Sepia, Green, Red, and Blue.

Fort Flagler

All these pictures were taken last February outside of my parents house. The first two are pictures of my Grandma, Mom, Sister, and Niece and the last two are of the Rosado Family. The water in the background is the Puget Sound and the Mountain is Mount Rainier.

Favorites from Mexico

These are some of my favorites from our trip to Mexico last December. The pyramid is Chichen Itza and the other ruins are from Tulum. I had just received my D40 a few day before this trip.

First trial of Panoramas

This is my first attempt at doing panoramas. This is Canyon Lake again and these were taken hand held! I still don't have a tripod so hand held will have to do. Both are composed of about 7 images all done in Photoshop Elements.

Hello this is Dave and this is my first attempt at making a blog. I have been getting into photography lately and enjoy taking pictures with my new camera (Nikon D40). It is just an entry level D-SLR but have been amazed with its capability. I am by no means a good photographer but am constantly learning and trying new things.

This blog is where I am going to post some of my photos and you can leave me feedback if you want or just take a look.

The name of my blog is "Kunan ng Larawan" which is Filipino and can be translated into English as Shoot or take a picture.
